Robert DallekRobert Dallek Robert Dallek is an award-winning historian who specializes in the American presidency and foreign affairs. His most recent works include Harry S. Truman, Lyndon B. Johnson: Portrait of a President and An Unfinished Life: John F. Kennedy, 1917-1963, which was a number one New York Times best seller. He is also the author of the classic Franklin D. Roosevelt and American Foreign Policy, 1932-1945 and numerous other works. Dallek is an elected fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Society of American Historians. He has taught at Boston University, UCLA, Columbia University and the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas.
