Jobs program crucial for Dems to win in 2010
Monday, 11/23/2009 - 3:42 pm by Lynn Parramore | 2 CommentsIn the 1st of a 4-part interview on the Real News Network, political scientist/economist and author Tom Ferguson analyzes the recent elections and gives Democratic incumbents a warning for 2010: “If these guys don’t get a jobs program going–they’re gone.”
One would certainly assume so. Still, it looks as though the basic premise of direct government employment is off the table, unless Congress demonstrates the backbone to override the Obama’s administration’s stated position to date.
